How to turn on Magnifier

When you want to see something far away with a little more clarity or you're having a hard time reading small letters right in front of you, you can point your iPhone's camera at the subject and 'pinch' to zoom for a better look. But there's actually something built into iOS for the exact purpose of magnifying objects, and it goes above and beyond the normal camera features. People have this misconception that you must be dealing with some kind of impaired vision problems in order to need a magnifier. But while using your iPhone X, iPhone Xr, iPhone Xs or iPhone Xs Max, you might come across a situation where the font is really small.

The download name is scmagnifier.zip. When you unzip the download file, you will have a folder called 'scmagnifier' and inside there is an image file called Magnifier.png which has installation instructions ('Installing as an Effect') and the Magnifier folder (which is the 'whole' Effect you use to 'install' into FCPX.). There is a little known feature included in iOS 10 called Magnifier. It essentially turns your iPhone’s camera into a magnifying glass of sorts with a custom UI specifically for easier reading.
